Dairy and Food Processing
In food and dairy work the product is rarely the corrosive agent — the clean-in-place cycle is. Caustic and acid wash sequences at temperature, plus chlorinated sanitisers, define the material requirement. Surface finish and weld quality determine whether bacteria can establish, so both are specified alongside the grade.
