Stainless Steel
Stainless steel is not one material but a family whose members behave very differently. An austenitic 304 and a martensitic 420 share a name and almost nothing else — one is chosen for formability and corrosion resistance, the other for hardness. Selecting well means starting from the service condition, not the grade number.
Stainless Steel we supply
Seamless Pipes
Seamless pipe from 1/8″ NB to 40″ NB, in schedules 5 through XXS, across austenitic, duplex and high-alloy grades.
Seamless Tubes
Seamless tube specified by outside diameter and wall thickness, for heat exchanger, boiler, condenser and instrumentation service.
Welded Pipes
Welded pipe in schedules 5 through XXS, the economic choice for lower-pressure and larger-diameter service.
Welded Tubes
Welded tube to outside diameter and wall thickness, including thin-wall sections from 0.5 mm.
Round Bars
Round, square, hexagonal and threaded bar from 10 mm to 300 mm, in six delivery conditions and tolerance classes H7 to H10.
Wires
Stainless wire for spring, weld, rope, mesh, forming and cold-heading applications.
Sheet & Plate
Sheet and plate across the full austenitic, ferritic, duplex and high-alloy range, in mill and polished finishes.
Coils
Hot and cold rolled coil for slitting, pressing, roll-forming and tube-making.
Strips, Shims & Foils
Precision thin-gauge strip, shim stock and foil down to 0.02 mm.
Flat Bars
Flat and angle sections, hot rolled and cold drawn, for structural and fabricated work.
Circles
Blanked circles for deep drawing, spinning and pressed vessel work.
Rings
Rolled and forged rings for flange, bearing and seal service.
Pipe Fittings
Buttweld, forged, investment cast, olet, bar stock, dairy, ferrule and furniture fittings.
Valves
Ball, gate, globe, check, butterfly and needle valves in stainless and high-alloy trim.
Fasteners
Screws, nuts, bolts, washers, threaded bar, anchors, rivets, pins and machined fasteners.
Precision Components
CNC and VMC machined components to drawing, across 14 processes and 13 materials, verified on CMM.
By family, because family predicts behaviour.
Austenitic
09- UNS S30400 / S30403304 / 304LPREN 19
The default austenitic stainless. 18% chromium, 8% nickel, no molybdenum.
- UNS S31600 / S31603316 / 316LPREN 25
304 plus 2–3% molybdenum. The standard answer to chlorides and mild acids.
- UNS S31700 / S31703317 / 317LPREN 30
Higher molybdenum than 316, at 3–4%. The step up before super-austenitics.
- UNS S32100 / S32109321 / 321HPREN 19
304 stabilised with titanium. Resists sensitisation in the 425–815 degrees C range.
- UNS S34700 / S34709347 / 347HPREN 19
Stabilised with niobium rather than titanium. Preferred where weld filler purity matters.
- UNS S31000 / S31008310 / 310SPREN 25
25% chromium, 20% nickel. A heat-resisting grade, not a corrosion-resisting one.
- UNS S30300303PREN 18
304 with sulphur added for machinability. The free-machining austenitic.
- UNS S20200202PREN 17
Chromium-manganese-nickel austenitic grade. A lower-cost alternative to 304 for dry, indoor and decorative use.
- UNS S20100 / S20200200 SeriesPREN 16
Manganese and nitrogen substitute for nickel. A cost-driven austenitic family.
