Outstanding resistance to caustic soda at all concentrations, Resists dry halogens and neutral and alkaline salt solutions, High thermal and electrical conductivity and Excellent low-temperature toughness. It is magnetic, with good weldability and fair machinability, and is used in continuous service in air up to about 315 °C.
