200 Series Stainless Steel is also designated UNS S20100 / S20200, EN 1.4372, AISI 201 / 202, JIS SUS201, GB S35350 and Werkstoff X12CrMnNiN17-7-5. Quote the designation your specification uses and we will supply to it.
Materially cheaper than 304 and less exposed to nickel price volatility, Higher work-hardening rate and yield strength than 304 and Adequate for dry indoor service. It is non-magnetic, with good weldability and fair machinability, and is used in continuous service in air up to about 815 °C.
