Effectively immune to chloride stress corrosion cracking, Oxidation resistance to approximately 1100 degrees C, Resists dry chlorine and hydrogen chloride at temperature and Non-magnetic and tough at cryogenic temperature. It is non-magnetic, with good weldability and difficult machinability, and is used in continuous service in air up to about 1100 °C.
