A tropical monsoon climate with a long wet season, flooding in the delta, and salt air along the coast. Humidity is high for most of the year.
SS 202 is used for indoor decorative and kitchenware items; 304 and 316 suit wet, outdoor and food-contact work in this climate.
SS 202 is widely used here for kitchenware, furniture, decorative tube, elevator and interior panels, and appliance parts, all indoor and dry-to-humid uses. For exposed, coastal or washdown service we recommend 304 or 316 instead, and we will say so.
Chromium-manganese-nickel austenitic grade. A lower-cost alternative to 304 for dry, indoor and decorative use. Every form is also available in SS 304, 316, duplex and nickel alloys.
State the grade, form, dimensions, quantity, standard and destination port. We will confirm availability and the Incoterm.
