Rajgranth Metal & Alloys exports welded pipes to Bahrain from Mumbai in SS 202, 304, 316, duplex and nickel alloy grades, shipped to Khalifa Bin Salman Port with an EN 10204 3.1 mill certificate. Typical buyers are contractors and fabricators serving the refinery, smelter and construction sectors, and traders.
Bahrain's demand comes from aluminium smelting, oil refining, construction, and industrial and marine engineering.
A small, low-lying island nation with hot, very humid, salt-laden air. Almost nothing is far from the sea. Because chlorides are everywhere, 316L or better is advisable outdoors. SS 202 belongs in air-conditioned interiors only.
ASTM, ASME and BS standards are commonly used, with operator requirements on refining and smelter projects. Buyers in the region typically specify ASTM or EN standards, expect EN 10204 3.1 certificates, and often require third-party inspection, which we arrange to EN 10204 3.2 on request.
Welded pipe is formed from flat strip, seam-welded and then usually annealed or dressed. It is the economical route for larger diameters and for decorative and structural pipe, and it is the form in which SS 202 is most often bought.
Welded pipe is formed from strip and seam-welded, then solution annealed and pickled. For ambient and moderate-pressure duty — water, structural, food and general process lines — it delivers the same corrosion performance as seamless at materially lower cost, and is available in larger diameters.
