Rajgranth Metal & Alloys exports round bars to United Arab Emirates from Mumbai in SS 202, 304, 316, duplex and nickel alloy grades, shipped to Jebel Ali or Sharjah with an EN 10204 3.1 mill certificate. Typical buyers are contractors, fabricators, trading houses and re-exporters, and project procurement teams.
The UAE's demand comes from construction and architecture, oil and gas (including ADNOC projects), water and desalination, food and hospitality, and re-export through Jebel Ali to the wider Gulf and Africa.
Extreme heat, high coastal humidity, salt-laden air and desert dust. Chloride exposure on the Gulf coast is severe for exposed metal, and indoor air-conditioned spaces are a completely different environment. Interior architectural work can use 202 or 304; exterior, marine and process work needs 316, duplex or nickel alloy because of coastal chlorides.
ASTM and ASME are widely used, with API and BS EN for oil and gas and building work. Operator specifications such as ADNOC's can add requirements beyond the commodity standard. Buyers in the region typically specify ASTM or EN standards, expect EN 10204 3.1 certificates, and often require third-party inspection, which we arrange to EN 10204 3.2 on request.
Round bar is solid feedstock, supplied in a stated delivery condition and tolerance class. In SS 202 it is bought for machined and turned parts in dry, indoor service, where the lower cost of 202 helps and the part will not see chlorides.
Bar is the feedstock for almost everything machined — shafts, valve internals, fasteners, fittings. What decides whether it is fit for the job is not the grade alone but the delivery condition and the tolerance class, which is why both are specified here up front rather than buried in a quotation.
