A hot, humid, equatorial climate with coastal salt on both sides of the peninsula. Palm oil and food plants add washdown with cleaning chemicals, which is hard on lower grades. Round bar is solid feedstock, supplied in a stated delivery condition and tolerance class. In SS 202 it is bought for machined and turned parts in dry, indoor service, where the lower cost of 202 helps and the part will not see chlorides.
